Why I bought, I recently updated my set of clubs in a series of Tommy Armor knock-offs to the new Callaway X-20's. My old set of clubs were hand-me-down set that I used for about 5 years. They were cavity back and a set of clubs, but I felt that I was not always the best of my equipment, so I finally broke and bought a new set. Boy, I'm happy. I will do in the body of the technical, technological jargon in the rest of this review, but first I'll write about what they have done for me.
Over the past five years, I golfed a bit more and more each year. Last year I had about 20-30 laps. I never played the sport and most of my life, I am a natural athlete. My golf game has steadily improved to the point where I usually score in the low 90's sometimes high 80. Do not stop reading, because scores are better or worse, my best! This year I decided to make the game more seriously, not only to improve my scores, but also to improve my work. After all, most rounds of golf one side bet. No real athlete loses or tolerate mediocracy. These are some reasons why I decided to lock out my wallet and buy a new set of clubs.
Shopping: At first, I went to several shops, including Edwin Watts Golf, Dick's Sporting Goods, The Sports Authority, and some small shops and Golf Pro Shops to try different clubs and compare prices . At first, I opted for Ping, because my brother uses it and spoke highly of them, but I did not like the meaning and it is difficult to find one of their high-end games for less $ 1000. Then I checked with the Taylor Made fixed and not just their appearance. Most vendors Golf Pro and led me to the Callaway X-20's. Most department stores try the clubs in their stores, or by contact with a network or in a high-technology. I feel for different brands and clubs in this way and the Callaway X-20's the best solution.
Then began the real shopping, I was online, like most of you have probably checked different sites using a search engine such as Google and search E-Bay and find much better prices on the internet super highway. The price I was looking in the stores was $ 700 - $ 850 for all 3 iron through pitching wedge online, but it is $ 550.
What they did for me: It has little to update and practice to see immediate gains in my golf game with these new clubs. My short irons, PW, 9 iron, 8 iron, it seems almost the same as my old clubs, I may be hitting a little more now with my new, but it was the iron 7 iron 3 that I saw the greatest improvement. The sweet spot on these clubs is greater than any other club, I had hit before. The only comparison that comes to mind is like comparing a bat made of wood and aluminum, they do not compare! You do not need to be perfect for a beautiful photo. I concentrate more on my ball positioning and the approach to the mechanics of the swing and the impact of ball. The long irons to lift the ball really well.
I am very confident with every iron in my bag, where before I was more confident with my 5 iron as my 3 iron so I use it sometimes when I should have been using a 3-iron and a little harder rocking , bad move. Now I have a beautiful swing with the 3 iron and get better results. I shaved about 12 layers of my game in the first 10 months of rounds using these clubs! Now my scores are mid to high 70's and low 80. My shots into the green approach to land much softer, because I hit both sides of iron. I am more accurate with the clubs greens feel much of the channel. I can get these irons higher therefore more distant from them than I could with my old clubs. I swing pretty fast, so I went to the tree, trees UNIFLEX instead of graphite.
These clubs are not just playing, they look too cool. They have a very large cavity back on the head and I found myself cleaning after every shot, because they are so sublime.
Callaway of technology:
Progressive Wall Reduction System: This means that the engineers of Callaway, which sweetness of job cuts at the center of gravity, which apparently gives the club the most. It reduced the severity of 6 per cent more than last years model, the X-18's.
Extreme Notch Weighting: It distributes the weight on the outer edge of the club head to create a moment of inertia for greater stability and forgiveness.
Under the chain Boden Layout: They have a 360-degree sub-channel maximizes perimeter wire weight by the CG lower and further back on the head of the club. This makes it even sweeter than most clubs.
Variable Face Thickness: Callaway said that maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for over more distance and forgiveness.
S2H2: This weight is moved to where the shaft of the club head on the perimeter of the head.
