Are you frustrated with your hand? Tired of spending more time outside than on the fairway?
Well, for fifteen years I struggled with a very ugly left to right ball flight. Well, a single disc! I have more time looking for golf balls in the game. I've tried everything but nothing seemed to work. My client is in the 110-120 range, mainly because I've never shot right.
Well, the other day while playing golf with my buddy, I shot a 84. Not bad for a senior golfer. But the good news is that I was shooting in the low 80s consistently in the past two years. And because I press the golf ball directly on the fairway on almost every tee shot. I even managed two holes-in-one during the last year and came close several times to break 80.
The secret?
In fact, it is very easy when you stop and think. If you've played baseball or tennis, or cut a tree, you already know the secret of the perfect swing.
Imagine yourself looking for that perfect Christmas tree in a wooded forest. If your tree, you take your ax with both hands, back of the right hand and left of the page, and you swing at the foot of the tree.
Nothing complicated. This is exactly the same prize a player of baseball to hit a low outside fastball. Again, the hands are turned to the right. In golf, we call it a good grip. But even more with a handful of ten fingers of both hands was found on the right.
Why use an overlapping or interlocking grip neutral and then turn your wrist just before contact? Have you ever had a home run hitter to do so? So why a golfer a strange reversal action grip and hit a golf ball? Tradition?
Anyway, after I changed my sense of super strong hold baseball bat, I started hitting the ball straight. I now look on the right to address and the golf club on a flat, almost like a throw Frisbee.
Is this golf tip to cure your slice? Who can say? I'm not a golf instructor and not say. All I know is that it worked for me and helped me enjoy the sport I was about to end in frustration.
If you press this point now, my mind baseball bat grip, lean and the right to speak, tee your golf ball high, or even a little further than your front foot, and then let it rip. I think it will help you find more fairways.
* PS / If you play golf with a traditional grip and swing in a vertical position for a long time, May you take some time to stop flipping your wrists at impact. This will result in a nasty hook. Pros can return their wrists at the exact time, because hours to perfect their timing. Face it! You're not a pro, and am I. So why not hit a golf ball more difficult than necessary. Keep it simple!
Try my common sense to heal, and let me know if you can have your real slice ugly.
